Registration Deadlines and Fees:
- Early Registration: January 23-March 3: $50
- Regular Registration: March 4th-March 16th: $60
Some notes before you start registration:
- Before registering, each team should designate a Registrar (can be a competitor or coach) to manage the registration process.
- If the Registrar does not know their school code, they should email our Registration Chair at mistny.register@gmail.com
- All students must sign their own copy of the Signature Page which must also be signed by their coach and parent or guardian.
- Once it has been decided what competitions each student is participating in, fill out the Team Registration form.
- All competitors and coaches must register for an account with Adderpit to finish online registration

Steps to Register
All of the following steps are to be done on the Adderpit website.
- Registrar creates the team and invites team members and coach to the team.
- The coach, Registrar, and competitors all need to join the team.
- All competitors need to register for competitions.
- Register any guests, if you are bringing them
- All competitors must pay for the registration fees for themselves and any guests they may have UNLESS other arrangements or payment options have been made by teams and/or the Regional Registration Chair.
- Registrar needs to coordinate the team registration.
- Registrar requests the coach’s approval for the team registration.
- Coach needs to approve or deny the team registration.
- Registration is complete!

As-salam-alaykum,
I’m the adviser of the New Hyde Park MSA and had a question about payment., generally, does the club pay for participants, or does each participant pay for themselves? If the school MSA pays the full amount, or partial amount, our school only writes out checks, no cash and no credit card system. Therefore, after looking at your payment system, we might have an issue. Any advice?
Additionally, I have some students who can only take part in a day or two because of family commitments. Do they still pay the full amount, or is their fee prorated?
Lastly, although I am the adviser, I will be away during the spring break. Will the students still be able to partake in the competitions?

Wa alaikum assalam,
Usually each participant pays for themselves, however, if the club/school wants to subsidize it, they can write a check to us and we can apply it to the students registering for that school (a list of those students should be given with that check). Please contact newyork@getmistified.com for setting it all up. If there’s anything more complicated, we would need to know your goals and whether the registration system can accommodate it.
All students competing in MIST competitions are required to pay the entire registration fee and attend all of MIST. If there are extenuating circumstances, we can address them on a case-by-case basis.
The adviser does not have to be there during the MIST weekend, however, a coach (above 21 years of age, can be a parent of a student) does need to be with the team during the entire weekend. For larger teams, we recommend at least one coach per 10 students. If coaches cannot stay the entire time, you can register more coaches, but there must be at least one coach on the premises at any given time.
