First, we want to thank all those who attended, volunteered, and organized the Pep Rally and the Basketball tournament–the turnout was great and the events themselves were quite successful! We couldn’t have done it without you.
Second, as you may have heard, there were several arson attacks in Queens yesterday. One of the targets was Al-Iman School, the location of last year’s tournament. Alhamdulillah (praise be to God), no one was injured and the damage wasn’t severe, but we request that you keep them in your duas as well as the broader Muslim community. If you live in the area, please stay safe!
May Allah (swt) protect our community, its members, and our image as Muslims, and may He shield us all from the blind hatred and toxic intolerance of others.
